Estate Based Youth Theatres

Details

We have been providing high quality youth theatres on estates in Hackney for 11 years engaging young people who do not traditionally have access to arts opportunities.

Our Estate Based Youth Theatres create a platform so that the voices of young people can be heard. This also helps to improve relationships between the young people and the wider community.

Weekly workshops run from October to July during term time. In the summer holidays participants take part in an intensive programme where they have the opportunity to create a new play and perform it to their peers, members of the community and local decision makers.
