Working in Partnership

We have always sought to work in partnership with both arts and non-arts organisations to produce professional performance work and participatory projects for those who do not traditionally access opportunities in the arts.

Our primary aim is:

‘To work in partnership to support the use of drama and other art forms as a tool for social engagement in all aspects of society.’

Immediate Theatre is entirely project funded. Therefore, our partnerships are vital to our continued growth and success.

In order to continue to deliver high quality projects we look to maintain existing partnerships as well as to develop new ones. Often, new projects emerge out of existing partnerships and local opportunities.

We have forged successful relationships with a wide range of organisations across many sectors including; Housing Associations, health providers, local and regional government, museums, theatre and arts organisations, youth offending teams, schools and alternative education providers, crime prevention units, regeneration teams, trusts, foundations and other funding bodies.

All our partners share our belief in the power of the arts to transform the lives of marginalised and disadvantaged young people.

We value the knowledge and expertise of all our partners in their different fields. We particularly value the connectivity these partnerships bring to our work.

Our participatory and touring programmes now reach over 6000 young people a year. To continue this work we must constantly seek new funding streams and partnership opportunities.
