Immediate Theatre will work in partnership with Theatre Venture and Face Front to form the Theatre in Schools Partnership, extending theatre provision to schools in 10 East London boroughs.
Now You See Me; Now You Don't by Louise Warren
Commissioned by Camden Public Safety Team and funded by Transport for London 'Now You See Me; Now You Don't' looks at safety on the roads for primary students in year 6 as they approach the transition to Secondary school.
'Now You See Me; Now You Don't' is the story of an 11 year old boy called Aaron who wants to be an Olympic runner and how, one day coming home from school he was knocked down by a car. This fully interactive workshop and performance package creates a lasting impact on the young people through a striking and dramatic central incident. The play focuses on themes of transition, encouraging young people to prepare themselves for secondary school and understand that they have increasing control over their own and other people's safety.
