Bio

Roisin came to London from ‘the north’ in 2007 and studied a Masters in Applied Drama at Goldsmiths where she passed with Distinction.

Since graduating she has worked in community arts all over London but finds herself most at home in Deptford. She runs her own Youth Theatre at the Albany theatre called Dig Deptford. She is passionate about making art with adults with learning disabilities and teenagers and last year she spent a few months working at the YMCA in Bogota, Colombia on their prevention programme for young people. She recently had her directing debut through Stonecrabs Theatre’s Young Directors Programme and is now keen to develop as a director to improve her community art work with Immediate Theatre.
